With Fall on the Horizon...

Hey Hey #PolishedPeople,

With Fall on the horizon, I wanted to share with my polished people fun things I like to do in Indianapolis when the season changes. Of course, I am Team #pumpkinspice wax melts all throughout your home and sweater weather. I enjoy taking pictures, going to bonfires and pumpkin patches with my little one.

2) Blacktoberfest presented by Don't Sleep

It's something really beautiful about coming together around a bonfire, listening to soulful sounds and being able to shop with a plethora of black owned businesses. This experience I am talking about is #Blacktoberfest. The event will take place Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 4pm until 10pm at 1455 Columbia Ave., in Indianapolis, IN. Here's my recap video from the first #blacktoberfest I covered :

What I recommend you bring with you to BlacktoberFest:

1) Lots and lots of Money to support these black businesses. There's something for everyone with the many different vendors.

2) Wear warm clothes & you can purchase your Blacktoberfest gear.

3) Come with an open heart to experience & accept all this unfiltered #BlackJoy

3) Going to the Pumpkin Patch

I love getting dressed in my plaids and taking ThePolishedPrince out to go pick his pumpkin. Last year, My girl Brandy called me and asked me if me and Waalid wanted to go with her and her daughter "Jay-Bird" to the pumpkin patch. We got apple cider and cinnamon donuts while we were there. A photographer was onsite taking pictures. Its a nice time to catch the autumn breeze with family and friends.
