Hey #PolishedPeople,
Long time since I wrote on my blog but I am ready now. Refreshed. Instagram announced that the platform wants to focus on become more of a video based platform. I know how that news shock a lot of people but you shouldn't be alarmed. Let it be an opportunity for you to explore your talents and try something new again.
As ThePolishedLady, I may look comfortable on camera but I still have butterflies sometimes when the cameras are rolling. My main advice is do what feels natural because if you don't and you are anything like me ; your facial expressions will show on the video. Think about what you suppose to be saying BEFORE the cameras are rolling if it's for a live piece of content. Most times, thinking about the message and practicing a few times before can help you as well. That's how I became so good, repetition.
Malcolm Gladwell said " 10,000 hours is the magic number of greatness" before you master a skill.
