Hello #PolishedPeople,
It's your favorite yellow media specialist here to share all about Indiana Fashion week and all the fun and amazing time I had covering Day 3 at the Fashion Mall at Keystone. So when I first arrived to the Fashion Mall, I walked in seeing Regina Warren of 360 Model Bootcamp coaching the models and making sure they were aware of their runway. I immediately scanned the room to find the most suitable space for be to set up and do interviews. Yesterday's focus was getting Interviews with the models, Department managers and attendees at the event.
A little history lesson : Indiana Fashion Week was curated by Denisha Ferguson in 2019 which spearheaded the Indiana Fashion Foundation to being formed. To read more about Indiana Fashion Foundation click here.
I got to chat with the Area Director of Marketing & Business Development for the Fashion Mall at Keystone and I spoke with the department manager of Nordstrom & a manager from Bonobos about their involvement in Indiana Fashion Mall and why they felt it was important to have the Day 3 fashion show in their mall. I chatted with some models before the show to see if they were excited about the show and I also if they were representing any agencies and some were freelance models and other were signed with agencies like Lmodelz, Catalyst and etc.
It was also nice to chat with WTHR's very own reporter, Jalea Brooks who served as our emcee for the evening. I chatted with the model coaches from 360 Model Bootcamp : Regina Warren, Myiesha Dunham and Monique Momo as well. They were definitely a key element in making the fashion show turn out so beautifully. It was full audience and they truly enjoying watch the models do their thing in brands like Ann Taylor, Bonobos, Nordstrom and FP movement. I wasn't the only one doing interviews , Kalenna B from Bask in your style was there and so was Ethan Rodriguez from The Klotofy was there too.
