Last Friday, I co-hosted Indy Black Professionals' AfroStylez Fashion Show with The Voice himself, Tony Styxx. The AfroStylez Fashion Show took place at the Indianapolis Art Garden in the Circle Centre Mall. When I first arrived, I saw vendors getting ready to setup and photographers & videographers getting their cameras ready. I went around and instantly greeted all the vendors as I waited for the run of show.
Some of the vendors that were in the building: Carl Winston by Theophile Tayo, ADWA Fashion, Tricoci University, Benny's Beading and Precious Jewel Art. DJ Ranye was spinning on the 1's and 2's and people started to flood in. Myself and Tony Styxx were having a great time hosting and behind the Curtain of the fashion the models were so encouraging of one another. The models that walked in the fashion show came from these two modeling agency: LModelz Model Mgmt or Fierce U Model & Talent.
The fashion pieces were one of a kind and super unique. All the designers didn't come to play.

Some of my favorite pieces came from Ankara Luxe and Autonomy creates but trust me when I say everything was amazing. We had a special dance performance by IUPUI ASA Dance Team. By the end of the evening, we were all full of laughs and smiles. Precious Jewel finished her sculpture and it was the perfect replica of Tony Styxx. Charmed Moments Photo Booth made sure we would remember the moment.
