I attend the 4th Annual Entrepreneur & Small Business Fair hosted by the Indianapolis Urban League

I started my Saturday morning off at the Indianapolis Urban League to attend their 4th annual entrepreneur & small business fair. Last year, I was a vendor and this year I switched it up to be an attendee. One of the reasons why I enjoy this event is due to the staff/ volunteers on site to make sure you are headed in the right direction and have what you need. There were over 100+ businesses there ! Some businesses were offering clothing, jewelry, skin care products and services.

So when you register, the Indianapolis Urban League gives you $50 in IUL Bucks. IUL Bucks can be use to shop with any vendor on site at the fair. Did I mention the event is free every year? Don't say I don't be telling about the good stuff happening in Indy.

My first purchase was my last purchase at the last fair which was at Kos.silk. I got her sapphire tears facial oil and I love the smell of it. Her business is a skincare business that is vegan friendly & cruelty free plus she's a black owned business. Next I saw my favorite wine company in the world, Sip & Share Wines so you know I had to get a glass. I had Abundance which is the sweet red wine but any other time you will definitely catch me with "Awaken". P.s. if you shop with online and use my code : "Polished" you will receive 10% off your purchase.

I saw some more of my favorite Black owned businesses like S.E.A leaders, Empowered living, Khaos and Kreations and so many more. I like the fact that this year they had the vendors outside but under a large tent. Kudos to IUL for that upgrade this year. So on the other side were the food vendors. I stopped at "The Hook Up" food truck. I saw they were a vendor at Tha Block Party Vol. 7. I got the grilled wings, Mac and cheese and of course greens with a Faygo Grape pop. I quite enjoyed the Mac and cheese and wings as well.

Overall, I had a good time and I will definitely be back for the 5th annual Entrepreneur and Small Business Fair. Check out the Indianapolis Urban League website here to find out more about the events they host for the community and how they can help you.

Love and Light,
