Holidays in my house aren't familiar

It's now 4 days away from Christmas and its not as merry as I thought it was. Of course, we are still trying to get our mind frame around the pandemic. Here's a topic that a lot of my following have asked me, how are you in a relationship with someone who has a different religion then you. We've always told everyone that I am Christian and Haasan is Muslim.

We've been fine until now because we see different on parenting during the holidays. I want Waalid to have a Christmas tree and his father doesn't want to lie about Santa Clause being real or any fantasy. Like I said in the YouTube video, there hasn't been a real compromise made but nonetheless I want to share ways to keep your holiday cheer alive.

Step one, Binge watch all of the Christmas movies known to mankind. I prefer Netflix because they have holiday genres like Christmas Romantic Movies. A new favorite is "Jingle Jangle".

Step Two, Celebrate holidays traditions with some friends, like going to see the Christmas lights or Drinking Hot chocolate in matching pajamas with your peeps. Host a friends-mas.

Step three, Celebrate Christmas traditions with your immediate family like you always have. Decorate the Christmas tree with ornaments and baking yummy cookies. This year, Me and Waalid will be spending Christmas Eve with my mom and dad.
