Hey #PolishedPeople,
I have seen a lot of talk about the new taco and tequila bar downtown Indy, so being the amazing Influencer that I am I went to see what the hype is all about for Agave and Rye. Of course, I did my research at my favorite coffee shop Chronic Coffee Indy whenever someone with an Agave and Rye shirt came in my first two questions were : 1) what do you do there and 2) what's your favorite item on the menu. The common recommendations I kept getting was Immediately as I entered the space, I love the chandeliers and the artsy aesthetic that you could see when you waited to be seated. The staff members are a lively bunch.
I fell in love once I was handed a menu that said "Blame it on the Tequila". Opened the menu and I started with the Brussel sprouts and the Elote from there I worked my way to their Epic Tacos. The tacos have quirky names like "the swipe right", "the plain jane" and "the latin lover". I ordered "The swipe right" and "The crown jewel". My favorite out of the two was definitely the crown jewel but don't try if you allergic to lobster.
Would I go back ? Absolutely 8/10 and I want to back and try "the Queen E" and the Mac n Cheese Beignets next. Did I mention that the brussels sprouts made a high level impression on me and they are definitely #PolishedLadyApproved. Also if you hit up Agave and Rye on Tuesdays, you can get a discount on their epic tacos so you can taste a little bit of it all and your favorite Margaritas are $7.75.
