Most like to emphasize that they don't want their followers to go up or the likes on their photos and videos. I get it the goal is not to be liked due to popularity or because of materialistic things. I like to think of an instagram follow as a place to build connections and relationships.

Instagram can serve as an distraction or a resource to grow your business. I go to a lot of events around the city and notice most people attend the event but don't get up and meet new people. One of my greatest traits is I can talk to anybody, anywhere. By talking to people at these events, I confirm two things , that I am a real person and my energy is just as bright on social media as I am in person.

For all my non talkers out there here's one of my secrets to networking : I follow the event page or the creator of the event and after the event is done, I watch their stories. This way I can connect with people who were there by following them on ig. In the future, you will see them some place very random and you will connect one on one.
